Some statistics from the Festival 2011:

  Tickets sales were up on last year

   950 people attended the concert in Exeter Cathedral

   67 musicians took part overall

   64 children took part

   71 composers had their music performed

£400 was raised for School Workshops at the Young Musicians Platform Winners concert

£1500 was raised at the Elgar concert for the Bus peripatetic teaching service

75 bottles of wine were drunk by the Residency artists preparing for Mahler's 4th Symphony

A total of 5000 miles was driven by the Adies, Belams and helpers

Competition 2012

Open to musicians of 18years or under on 1st January 2012

living or at school/college in the South West (Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall)

Entries close 31st January

First Round Auditions 10/11th March

Four winners will each receive £250 and play in their own concert in

the Two Moors Festival 2012
